This advert is aimed at all ages as its
funny and everyone will enjoy it including adults.
The Roller Babies ad features babies that
are about one year old. They perform break dances throughout the ad to show the
effect of Evian on the body.I think this advert is very clever for the fact
its very complicated because obviously no baby that young can roller skate and
do those tricks or in fact roller skate at all. Also if you think into the
advert a bit more you would question what roller skating babies has something
to do with water but the further you look into it the more you'll realise for
example the reason they used babies was to show youth and how water can make
your skin younger so thats a link and for example evians slogan word is pure
and obviously babies are as nothing bad happens/they do something bad beause
obviously they are so young so thats also links. Before the release of the Evian campaigns, people may
already have some associations related to babies. They could describe them with
adjectives like cute, young and active. ‘Evian’ introduced a connection between
Evian and babies. The “Live Young” slogan was used to promote its audience to
read the hidden meaning of the babies, which is to be young. This can be related
back to the product through the ad. Evian water has created a cultural meaning
for its brand; the youthfulness of babies become a important sign for Evian.
