The reasons why we chose to to name the film "The Puppet Maker" is because it was a unique name which linked in well with the genre our teaser trailer. Also the reason why we chose this look and effect is because the trailer is a horror so we wanted it to look simple and ordinary, in order to make the audience wonder what is going to happen next.
Also we decided to make the pacing of the trailer medium with a few fast flashes to allow the audience to see the trailer fully, but then to leave them in suspence after.
Why did we use these images:
The reason why we chose the puppet image is because the film is partly based on puppets.
However it also involves a girl named Fran who is taken by The Puppet Maker so, this then led to us using an image of someones hands being tied together pointing towards the puppet to show that someone or something has been taken prefferbly by the puppet.
Why we chose the catch line
We chose the catchline "Where Nightmares Come True" to show the audience that someone is afraid of something and in this case it is the puppet.
