The Puppet Maker


The narrative of the trailer:


MaryBella is dreaming about a flash back.

The flashback begins with Marybella and Fran at their seventh birthday. Marybella receives a puppet which she names Snookie and Fran receives a necklace.

In this scene Marybella and Fran will be playing hide and seek, until the game comes to an end, as no one can find Fran. (This is where the flashback ends)

1 year later:

Back to reality and Mary Bella is carrying on with her life, but she is finding it hard to get back into routine. She attends school but is like a blank canvas. She doesn't communicate talk or even try. She spends most of her time in her room daydreaming and writing down her inner thoughts. However one night Mary Bella isn't the only thing awake in her room , but she is accompanied by an old friend, who will bring back memories she has tried to cover up for years.


Snookie = the puppet name

1. First we are going to record a flashback, which is going to be in black and white and recorded in a garden.
2. Next we are going to record Mary Bella at school not coping and isolating herself from the other children.
3. Then we are going to film Mary Bella in her room daydreaming, doodling and separating her self from her family.
4. Finally it will end with Mary Bella waking up in the night to find the puppet staring in her face.
